Be more playful!

What do I mean “Be more playful”?

Well, first of all, we all need to remember to have fun. I feel that if we have playful items in our homes, it reminds us to not take everything too serious.

So this is step 2 in the how to style your home series. As you look for things to decorate your home with, remember to add a few playful items, art or “out of your comfort zone” colors. It will add more character and uniqueness to your home.

I’ve been in too many homes that are beige and beige and more beige. It’s okay to add color. Really….it is okay!

Here are a few of some fun brass colored items. This toilet paper holder is amazing!

Their curtains are so beautiful and I love a striped pillow especially with ruffles. I just got a couple from H&M home. And look at that curtain tie back!! So cute and fun!

Here are a few fun accessories. My favorite here is the little dish that you can get monogramed.
